We're going home!

I prefer mommy over my bassinet.

It's been fun being out in the world after all those months cooped up, but this place is kinda odd compared to what I expected. Pale-colored walls, lots of people probing me, strange beeps and noises in the middle of the night.

Wait, what? This is only the hospital? There's a whole big place beyond this? Thank god!

I guess they think I will be amused by dangling objects.

Mom and dad say we get to go home today, which is great news! I can't wait to see home, and judging by my parents' droopy eyelids, neither can they (shhh, don't tell them that newborn-caused sleep deprivation isn't limited to the hospital).
