My parents and Ellen and I went for a walk along a river trail, then up to the Sunflower Drive-In for lunch in old Fair Oaks. Sunflower is a popular veggie cafe, and there were tons of people there Monday. If you haven't been, you should check it out, especially the Falafel. Mom and dad went there a lot on bike before they had me; now they'll be going there by jogging stroller.
Even roosters can't roust me.We saw a lot of high school kids carrying rafts and a bunch of roosters. It was odd seeing roosters just running around, but dad says they have been there since he was a kid. We also saw a girl walking a goat along the bike path. Funny place, that Fair Oaks.
